We are partnering with the Montpelier Senior Activity Center once again to bring holiday cheer to seniors in need with our “Shoeboxes for Seniors” fundraiser. We are beginning to collect shoe boxes and donations for this wonderful holiday tradition. Each year, we collect toiletries, clothing pieces and other items, then pack them into shoeboxes and donate them to local seniors who may not have these resources. Our goal this year is 75 boxes! Please deliver items to the cubby room basket. Monetary donations can be left with Lauren. This is a wonderful way to make a difference during this giving season!
This familiar-made-fantastical rendition of the classic ballet, set in the 1970s in Vermont, delights audiences with its many local references, including a Maple Sugar Fairy instead of a Sugar Plum Fairy, loggers instead of Russian dancers, winter birds instead of tea, The North Wind and leaves instead of flowers, and a moose instead of reindeer pulling Marie’s sleigh. The van will depart Westview Meadows at 1pm.
Get cozy next to the fire and relax with a seasonal spirited beverage. We’ll reminisce and share stories about our favorite holiday traditions.
