* Refund scams (nonexistent charges + demands to access the computer)
* Intimidation by criminals phoning victims pretending to be law-enforcement officers (e.g., FBI)
* Fake kidnapping of relatives
* Romance scams
This is a behind-the-scenes guided tour and tasting inside their distillery – the only place in the world where Barr Hill Gin, Tom Cat Gin, and Barr Hill Vodka are distilled. Learn about distillation up-close and witness first-hand how their distillers work with raw honey to make their spirits. You will be invited to tour the whole building, meet the stills, smell the oak in the barrel room, explore the bottling operation, and our experimental lab. You’ll have the opportunity to taste raw honey, sip through our spirits, and dip a bottle into melted beeswax.
Bob Recupero, guitar and vocals. Bob’s early musical interest was sparked by cowboy songs, gunfighter ballads, as well as singer-songwriters and Rock & Roll. The artists covered in one of his performances are wide ranging: Hank Williams, Steve Earle, Lyle Lovett, J.J. Cale, James Taylor, Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, Robert Johnson, The Beatles, The Eagles, Stephen Stills, Danny O’Keefe, Little Feat, and Paul Simon. Some jazz from the 30’s etc. The list goes on.
Australia! A land of staggering contrast and spectacular beauty – from coral reefs to ancient rainforests and scorched red deserts. This month we’re taking a trip to the land down under! The best part is, you don’t even need to pack your bags! Friday, January 26th is Australia Day and we’re celebrating like real Aussies do. We’ll test our knowledge with trivia and fun facts all Aussie related and enjoy a documentary on the landmarks that can’t be missed. What trip would be complete without a taste of local food & beverage, so we’ll also be serving lamingtons and Bundaberg ginger beer. After this adventure we’ll all know what a‘cooee’ is and what ‘Oi for drongos and galahs’ means. For now, I’ll just say, “G’day, mate!”
