Our annual Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon is an opportunity to thank those that make a difference in our lives every day. A kind word, a nostalgic sound, or a listening ear can mean so much to someone. Delivering a newspaper when someone looks forward to reading the news. Facilitating a game that enriches the lives of those around you. Maintaining a garden that the entire community can enjoy and benefit from. Welcoming a new resident who may be worried if they will make new friends. We are grateful for all of our volunteers.
Cherry blossoms are a symbolic flower of the spring, a time of renewal. During this season in Japan, cherry blossom parties with colleagues, friends, and family are custom. This practice is called hanami, which literally means “watching blossoms,” and the tradition can be traced back at least a thousand years. Come to the Main Dining Room and celebrate Spring with a traditional Cherry Blossom Cocktail.
