Please join us as presenter, Marna Murray, describes the trials and tales of Simone Veil. “First elected President of the European Parliament, this French magistrate, mother of three, changed the lives of prisoners, children (Adoption Law) and women (Abortion Law). Twice France Minister of Health, member of its Constitutional Council and of Académie Française, she rests at the Paris Panthéon. How could Simone Jacob survive the Nazi extermination camps, stand for her values and rise to lead Europe?
